Characteristics

The Philodendron Billietiae, also sometimes called the Billietiae Philodendron, is a tropical climbing vine known for its elongated, glossy leaves and vibrant orange petioles (leaf stalks). The leaves are large, elongated, and somewhat spade-shaped with a glossy green surface. Mature leaves may develop wavy edges or slight ripples.

How to Care for Billietiae Philodendron

  • Light: Thrives in bright indirect light and cannot tolerate direct light.
  • Water Preferences: Allow the soil to dry out slightly in between watering. Water approximately every 7-10 days depending on what kind of light the plant receives.
  • Special Care/Notes: Prefers loose, well-draining soil that can hold moisture well.
