The Rhapis excelsa, commonly known as a 'Lady Palm' or 'Bamboo Palm', is an evergreen fan palm that grows in a dense clump of bamboo-like canes sporting green foliage with fan-shaped palmate leaflets diving into 5-8 narrow, finger-like segments.

She can be a bit much to handle in public, so I don’t take her out often. BUT whenever I go to Bath the people there always help me out with her! The selection of indoor plants (this is what I came in for) is spectacular and the care they give their plants is exceptional. Hundreds of plants and in my time at Bath saw not one brown leaf. No dying plants and no unhealthy plants which tells me that they are meticulous in their care. I would like to give a shout out to “The Sheriff.” I believe her real name is Martha!
