Characteristics
False Aralia is an upright shrub with long, slender leaves and deeply lobed with sawtooth edges. The leaves are a glossy dark green color, with new growth emerging in a coppery or burgundy hue. False aralia is a relatively easy-to-care-for houseplant. It thrives in moderate temperatures and humidity. With proper care, it can live for many years.
How to Care for False Aralia
- Light: Thrives in bright indirect light and cannot tolerate direct light.
- Water Preferences: Allow the soil to dry out slightly in between watering. Water approximately every 7-10 days depending on what kind of light the plant receives.
- Special Care/Notes: Prefers loose, well-draining soil that can hold moisture well.
