Characteristics

The Philodendron Cordatum, or the Heartleaf Philodendron, is a graceful tropical vine with glossy, heart-shaped leaves that shine bright to dark green. This variety of Philodendron loves to trail and climb. Give it a moss pole or a sunny spot near a window and watch it branch out!

How to Care for Heartleaf Philodendron

  • Light: Thrives in medium indirect light but can easily tolerate low-light environments.
  • Water Preferences: Allow the soil to dry out almost completely in between watering. Water approximately every 9-14 days depending on what kind of light the plant receives.
  • Special Care/Notes: They may become leggy and produce fewer leaves in low-light environments. Keep an eye on how your vines are growing and adjust their light exposure accordingly.

*Ships within Colorado only* To ensure plants are delivered with the most care, we ship plants Monday-Wednesday. Plants purchased after Wednesday or over the weekend will be shipped on the following Monday. Check out our shipping policies for more information. Thank you!

"No matter what I am at Bath for, there are always helpful employees to help me find what I need or tips on how to care for indoor or outdoor plants. They also carry pots, trellises, soil, and interesting plants of all kinds! I was also pleasantly surprised to find compost worms available for purchase without a special preorder. Thank you for being awesome!"
