Characteristics

The Dieffenbachia, also called the Dumb Cane, has lovely, variegated foliage with leaves that are a variation of lush greens accented by electric and sage green splashes. A gorgeous compact plant! The Dieffenbachia Camouflage is distinctly known for its uniquely light-colored, variegated leaves. At Bath Garden Center, you'll find an assortment of Dieffenbachia waiting to find their new home with you!

How to Care for Dieffenbachia

  • Light: Bright indirect/filtered light
  • Water Preferences: Water regularly in spring and summer, keeping the soil consistently moist but never soggy. Allow the top two inches of soil to dry before watering. In the winter, allow the soil to dry slightly before watering again.
  • Special Care/Notes: The strength of light the plant is placed in affects variegation pattern and color. Does not tolerate cool temperatures well. Prone to overwatering, water lightly. Keep in mind that this plant is toxic to pets and can cause irritation to the mouth and esophagus.

*Ships within Colorado only* To ensure plants are delivered with the most care, we ship plants Monday-Wednesday. Plants purchased after Wednesday or over the weekend will be shipped on the following Monday. Check out our shipping policies for more information. Thank you!

"Wow. Go here!!!"

- Mario Quinonez, August 2024

"I stopped by Bath Garden Center and Nursery today and was unexpectedly surprised. This family-owned garden center is fantastic. The variety of outdoor and indoor plants is shocking. They also sell pots for every taste. I got two indoor plants and went to the cashier. Lauren was excellent at taking me to an available cashier and ringing me up. She kindly offered to put my chosen plants into the new pots I bought. I wish this family had more stores across Colorado."
