Schefflera arboricola, also known as a Dwarf Umbrella Tree or Parasol Plant, is a broadleaf evergreen shrub that has long and shiny ovate leaves drooping from the peak of its stalks, resembling an umbrella. As a tropical houseplant, the Schefflera arboricola can tolerate a range of growing conditions but prefers indirect light, warmth, and humidity.
