Characteristics

The Hoya Kerrii, also known as the Sweetheart Hoya or Valentine Hoya, is a charming and beloved houseplant that captures hearts with its unique heart-shaped leaves. The heart-shaped leaves have made the Hoya Kerrii a popular gift for Valentine's Day and other occasions expressing love and affection. It's a symbol of enduring love, friendship, and devotion. Don't expect your Hoya Kerrii to become a leafy jungle overnight. It's a slow-growing vine, but that just adds to its charm.

How to Care for Hoya

  • Light: Bright indirect light is best. Avoid harsh afternoon sun, which can scorch the leaves.
  • Water Preferences: Allow the soil to dry significantly between watering. Prefers periodic deep watering over frequent shallow watering, and do not let it stand in water.
  • Special Care/Notes: Choose a pot with drainage holes to prevent waterlogging. A pot slightly larger than the root ball is best.

To ensure plants are delivered with the most care, we ship plants Monday-Wednesday. Plants purchased after Wednesday or over the weekend will be shipped on the following Monday. Check out our shipping policies for more information. Thank you!
