Bath Brewed Compost Tea

Our compost tea is made from high-quality vegan compost and includes blackstrap molasses, corn gluten meal, water, and a mineral complex to feed both plants and biology, which is then aerated for 12-24 hours. The resulting tea is rich with beneficial bacteria and mycorrhizae.

Benefits of Compost Tea:

  • Soil & Plant Health: Boosts nutrient uptake, aeration, and disease resistance.
  • Restoration: Revitalizes gardens and soil damaged by harsh chemical fertilizers and pesticides.
  • Natural Protection: Creates a microbiological barrier on foliage and roots to shield against pathogens.
  • Resilience: Increases drought tolerance and reduces the need for frequent watering.
  • Safe & Affordable: Highly economical and safe for frequent use; it won't burn plants like synthetic alternatives.

How to Apply Compost Tea

The tea should be applied to your garden very shortly after purchasing, as the microbes will continue to eat the food source in the tea. Dilute the tea 1:1 with water and apply it as a foliar spray or soil drench. Compost tea is best applied in the morning or evening when your plants are not under the stress of the heat of the day.

"I stopped by Bath Garden Center and Nursery today and was unexpectedly surprised. This family-owned garden center is fantastic. The variety of outdoor and indoor plants is shocking. They also sell pots for every taste. I got two indoor plants and went to the cashier. Lauren was excellent at taking me to an available cashier and ringing me up. She kindly offered to put my chosen plants into the new pots I bought. I wish this family had more stores across Colorado."
