Organic Worm Castings

Worm castings provide an excellent way to soften soil and increase microbial activity while giving plants a natural, easily absorbed source of nitrogen, calcium and iron. This results in faster growth, larger plants and bigger blooms.

How to apply:

  • For gardens, flower beds, fruits, trees and shrubs: Spread 1/4 inch to 1/2 inch thick layer of earthworm castings directly around the plant, and incorporate into the soil, and water. Reapply every 3 months during the growing season.
  • For potting mix: Blend 1 part earthworm castings to 4 parts of potting mix and use for your potted plants.
  • For compost pile: Spread 1/8 inch to 1/2 inch thick layer of earthworm castings between each new layer of material to be composted.
