This formula specifically targets broadleaf plants. Trimec weed killer (the active ingredient in this product) usually consists of a combination of 2, 4-D, Dicamba, and Mecoprop. The trifecta of herbicides is the key to Trimec’s potent weed-killing ability. Each chemical is proficient in killing different weeds.
- Always read instructions and use only as directed.
- Application Rate: Temperature should be 65°F to 85°F.
- 1 pint covers 8,000 square feet in St. Augustine and 6,000 square feet in Bermuda, Fescue, and Bluegrass.
- Labeled for use on northern and sensitive southern lawns (except Floratam).
- Won’t harm lawns when used as directed
- Controls 250+ broadleaf weeds, including dandelion, clover, chickweed, ground ivy, henbit, wild violet and others as listed.
