Earthworm Castings from Earth Science

Earth Science earthworm castings are made with 100% earthworm manure and never any low-cost fillers. Professional growers have relied on earthworm castings for years to improve the soil, as they are an excellent source of organic matter. Regular use improves overall soil structure, increases water and nutrient holding capacity of soils, and encourages plant growth. They are an excellent supplement for plants of any kind.

How to apply:

  • For gardens, flower beds, fruits, trees and shrubs: Spread 1/4 inch to 1/2 inch thick layer of earthworm castings directly around the plant, and incorporate into the soil, and water. Reapply every 3 months during the growing season.
  • For potting mix: Blend 1 part earthworm castings to 4 parts of potting mix and use for your potted plants.
  • For compost pile: Spread 1/8 inch to 1/2 inch thick layer of earthworm castings between each new layer of material to be composted.

"I love this place. Their customer service is absolutely outstanding. The staff has a great amount of knowledge. Anytime I have an issue with a plant, I pluck a leaf off of it put it in a ziplock bag, and then take it in. The staff easily assesses what the issues are and educates me on how to tackle the issue."

"Every time I've gone into this place has been a lovely time. Their plant selection is terrific, with beautiful sculptures and even turtles hanging out! Took a class with Evan today and made bookmarks, I plan on coming back to take more classes."
