Characteristics

Schefflera Alpine, commonly known as an Umbrella Tree, is an easy-to-care-for tropical houseplant that can grow up to 10 feet tall. It is perfect for a large, naturally lit corner of your home or office. The Schefflera Alpine has broad, glossy green leaves and develops from bushy to a tree form as it ages.

How to Care for Umbrella Trees

  • Light: Medium to bright indirect light
  • Water Preferences: Allow the soil to dry significantly between watering. Prefers periodic deep watering over frequent shallow watering.
  • Special Care/Notes: Rotate your plant periodically to allow sun exposure on all sides if it's placed in a corner.

*Ships within Colorado only* To ensure plants are delivered with the most care, we ship plants Monday-Wednesday. Plants purchased after Wednesday or over the weekend will be shipped on the following Monday. Check out our shipping policies for more information. Thank you!

"What a fun and whimsical nursery. There is something for everyone. It feels like every turn you find another treasure. Pricing is boutique-like but plenty of items on the under $15 side. We went in today for greeting cards and found the perfect cards for my grandma. I've purchased many garden supplies and plants here as well. They always have great quality and variety. The owner is amazing, generous, and community focused."

"I love this place. Their customer service is absolutely outstanding. The staff has a great amount of knowledge. Anytime I have an issue with a plant, I pluck a leaf off of it put it in a ziplock bag, and then take it in. The staff easily assesses what the issues are and educates me on how to tackle the issue."

"Best garden center in Northern Colorado."
