Characteristics

Unlike its bushier Philodendron cousins, the Goeldii grows in a sparse, open pattern with elongated, finger-like leaves stretching outward. Its leaves can grow quite large, up to 12 inches long and 6 inches across with new leaves emerging a bright lime green and maturing into its signature emerald color.

How to Care for Goeldii Philodendron

  • Light: Thrives in bright indirect or filtered light.
  • Water Preferences: Keep the soil slightly moist, allowing the top inch to dry slightly between waterings.
  • Special Care/Notes: During spring and summer, a monthly dose of diluted liquid fertilizer will keep your Goeldii reaching for the sky and its leaves a glowing emerald.

*Ships within Colorado only* To ensure plants are delivered with the most care, we ship plants Monday-Wednesday. Plants purchased after Wednesday or over the weekend will be shipped on the following Monday. Check out our shipping policies for more information. Thank you!
