Characteristics

The Philodendron hederaceum 'Lemon Lime', or Lemon Lime Philodendron, is a variety of heartleaf Philodendron that features graceful tropical vines with leaves brilliantly colored yellow/green to lime green. This climbing Philodendron is evergreen and able to live indoors all year long. New growth may appear orange in color and transform to shades of neon green as the foliage matures.

How to Care for Lemon Lime Philodendron

  • Light: Thrives in bright to medium indirect light.
  • Water Preferences: Allow the soil to dry out slightly in between watering. Water approximately every 9-14 days depending on what kind of light the plant receives.
  • Special Care/Notes: Avoid direct sunlight that will burn their leaves

"Awesome choice of annuals! On sale!"

- Derek Harvey, June 2024

"I was in there today may 17th 2025 and two very lovely employees helped me out! One was a guy (cashier) other was a young woman in a hat. The guy asked if I would like the plant repotted and informed me that I needed a bigger pot for the plant to grow in. The girl walked me back to the pots and helped me pick the right size! They were very friendly and helpful they made my visit there amazing! I hope you know who I am talking about so you can give them recognition!"
