Characteristics
Mimosa pudica, commonly known as the Sensitive Plant or Touch-Me-Not is a truly captivating and interactive houseplant. Its most fascinating characteristic is its ability to rapidly fold its delicate, feathery compound leaves inward and droop downwards when touched, shaken, warmed, or even blown upon.
How to Care for Sensitive Plants
- Light: Thrives in bright indirect light and cannot tolerate direct light.
- Water Preferences: Keep soil consistently moist, but not soggy.
- Special Care/Notes: Prefers loose, well-draining soil that can hold moisture well and loves high humidity!
