Characteristics

Ficus lyrata, commonly known as the Fiddle Leaf Fig, is a trending evergreen tree of upright, spreading, irregular growth that produces 8 to 15-inch-long and 10-inch-wide, dull green, thick, fiddle-shaped leaves. The column variety of Ficus is characterized by its tree-like stem and usually includes one hearty column, rather than multiple.

How to Care for Fiddle Leaf Figs

  • Light: Bright indirect or filtered light
  • Water Preferences: Let the soil dry somewhat before watering again. May need additional humidity rather than water if the leaves begin to look crispy.
  • Special Care/Notes: Drought tolerant. Not tolerant of cold temperatures or drafts of air.

*Ships within Colorado only* To ensure plants are delivered with the most care, we ship plants Monday-Wednesday. Plants purchased after Wednesday or over the weekend will be shipped on the following Monday. Check out our shipping policies for more information. Thank you!
