Variegated Rubber Tree Houseplant for Home or Office

The Ficus elastica 'Ruby' is a variegated Rubber Plant. It is an evergreen tree species that produces oval, glossy, leathery leaves that are mint green with white edges and a flush or red or pink. An excellent air purifier.

How to Care for Rubber Trees

Light: Bright indirect light
Water Preferences: Allow the soil to dry somewhat between watering. Prefers periodic deep watering over frequent shallow watering.
Special Care/Notes: The strength of light the plant is placed in affects variegation pattern and color. If the leaves begin to drop, try moving the plant to a brighter area and make sure no cold drafts are present.
