Characteristics
The Dracaena deremensis, or 'Limelight', is a tropical upright evergreen that can add low-maintenance height and drama to any space. Its bright, lime-green leaves are flexible and strap-shaped, growing from the center of the plant.
How to Care for Dracaenas
- Light: Prefers bright indirect light, but can tolerate low light as well.
- Water Preferences: Water thoroughly then allow the soil to dry out nearly completely before watering again. This plant is moderately drought-tolerant and a great low-maintenance option.
- Special Care/Notes: Sensitive to salt and mineral buildup. It is best to use distilled water or to let tap water sit out for a minimum of 24 hours before using. Be careful not to overwater as this plant is highly susceptible to root rot. Find additional care instructions here!
