Characteristics

Alocasia houseplants are subtropical plants that are well known for their remarkable foliage, especially Alocasia Polly. The large, arrow shaped leaves have a glossy texture with wide silver veins. These cultivars can range in size from 2 feet tall to 6 feet tall and some can spread nearly 5 feet wide. At Bath Garden Center, you'll find an assortment of Alocasia waiting to find their new home with you!

How to Care for Alocasia Polly

  • Light: Bright indirect or filtered light. Too much direct sun may scorch leaves.
  • Water Preferences: Keep the soil consistently moist but never soggy. Use well-draining, loose potting soil.
  • Special Care/Notes: They crave warmth and high humidity and do not tolerate cool temperatures well. Alocasia are prone to spider mites and mealy bugs, help prevent pests by wiping leaves down regularly with neem oil!

To ensure plants are delivered with the most care, we ship plants Monday-Wednesday. Plants purchased after Wednesday or over the weekend will be shipped on the following Monday. Check out our shipping policies for more information. Thank you!
