Produces very large, 6-7", silvery mauve flowers with creamy-white anthers. The petals overlap producing a very full flower. Blooms June, July and late August. Blooms on the previous year's growth. Second flush of flowers appearing on the new growth, which produce smaller flowers. Prune in early spring as new leaf buds appear low on the plant. Remove all dead material above these buds.
