Denver Gold Columbine Plant

A particularly showy race of the golden columbine of the southern Rockies. The huge, yellow flowers can be over three inches across and the spurs are even longer. The plants often bloom from May to autumn frost and self sow generously. This columbine is a favorite among gardeners for its long-lasting blooms, low maintenance requirements, and ability to attract hummingbirds and butterflies. It's also deer and rabbit resistant.

*Please be aware that planting perennials out of season can increase the risk of the tree not surviving or thriving and may not look identical to the picture shown. Perennials are dormant during the winter months and are more susceptible to stress and damage when planted out of season.*
