Partridge Feather Plant

Plush ever-silver mats of gorgeous feathery foliage will thrive in dry gardens with good drainage, improving and spreading modestly through the years. Golden button flowers appear for a short time in summer.

Plant Characteristics

  • Plant Type: Groundcover, Perennial
  • Hardiness Zone: 4-9
  • Light Requirements: Full Sun - Partial Sun
  • Height: 4-6 inches
  • Width: 18-24 inches
  • Foliage Color: Silver
  • Bloom Color: Yellow
  • Bloom Time: Summer
  • Attributes: Deer resistant
  • Tips from the pros: Does best in lean soil. For best appearance, avoid overhead watering. After establishment, water sparingly to avoid excess growth. Can be pruned back hard regularly - will come back on woody stems following pruning. Cut back any thinning spots close to ground level for dense re-sprouting.

We offer a one-year conditional warranty. Any plants grown in a container voids the warranty. Warranties on roses and perennials are valid through October 1st of the year purchased. All plants purchased after October 31st will not be eligible for coverage under our warranty.

*Please be aware that planting perennials out of season can increase the risk of the tree not surviving or thriving and may not look identical to the picture shown. Perennials are dormant during the winter months and are more susceptible to stress and damage when planted out of season.*
