Fern-leaf Bleeding Heart

Pink, heart-shaped blooms dance charmingly above spreading mounds of ferny, blue-green foliage. This selection is everblooming, flowering most freely in spring and continuing throughout the summer and into fall. It does not set seed. It also seems to tolerate more sun and summer heat than most other varieties. Unlike the Common Bleeding Heart, D. 'Luxuriant' will not go dormant in midsummer as long as the soil is kept moist.

"It's always good to check out the koi pond and see the turtles. The plants are beautiful, and they have a good selection of soils and pots. Awesome selection of herbs too! The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable."

- Erica W, February 2024

"I was in there today may 17th 2025 and two very lovely employees helped me out! One was a guy (cashier) other was a young woman in a hat. The guy asked if I would like the plant repotted and informed me that I needed a bigger pot for the plant to grow in. The girl walked me back to the pots and helped me pick the right size! They were very friendly and helpful they made my visit there amazing! I hope you know who I am talking about so you can give them recognition!"
