For an easy and foolproof way to fertilize your container plants and bedding plants, try Jobe's Organic Fertilizer Spikes! The easy premeasured spikes are formulated with feather meal, bone meal, and sulfate of potash and release the proper amount of fertilizer slowly into the soil. Apply fresh spikes every 8 weeks or as needed during the growing season.
Directions:
For best results make sure the ground has been recently turned. Push the spike completely into the soil and cover it.
For containers: Place spikes into the soil evenly around the edge of the pot according to the size of each container. More instructions on container plants can be found on the bag.
For bedding plants: Use 8 spikes per square foot of beds.
