The Quaking Aspen (Populus tremuloides) is native to Colorado and a tremendous showstopper in the fall. These trees are known for their fluttering leaves that are bright green in the spring and summer and a beautiful, bright golden yellow in the fall. They have a slender, upright form and are easily recognizable by their smooth white bark, which develops black scars over time. Quaking Aspen Trees are also environmentally beneficial.
