My Monet Purple Effect™ brings new color, more flowers, and better adaptability while sharing all the charm and beauty of the original My Monet® weigela. Its variegated cream and mint green foliage takes on purple (as opposed to pink) tones, and it is much better able to withstand the rigors of both cold and warmer climates. Though it is slightly larger, it can be used in much the same way: as a delightful companion to perennials, as a colorful edging, in a container, or anywhere you need a spot of clear, clean color.
We offer a one-year conditional warranty on trees and shrubs. Any plants grown in a container voids the warranty. Please see full details on our warranty page.
*Please be aware that buying trees & shrubs out of season can increase the risk of the plant not surviving or thriving and may not look identical to the picture shown. Trees are dormant during the winter months and are more susceptible to stress and damage when planted out of season.*

"I was in there today may 17th 2025 and two very lovely employees helped me out! One was a guy (cashier) other was a young woman in a hat. The guy asked if I would like the plant repotted and informed me that I needed a bigger pot for the plant to grow in. The girl walked me back to the pots and helped me pick the right size! They were very friendly and helpful they made my visit there amazing! I hope you know who I am talking about so you can give them recognition!"
