Derived as a dwarf selection of the popular 'Variegatus', 'Dixieland' delivers all the bold visual impact of variegated maiden grass while staying sturdy and self-supporting without flopping. In late summer to early fall, feathery tassels emerge with a subtle pinkish-red hue, slowly aging into fluffy, silver-cream seed heads that persist through winter.
