Callirhoe, often called Winecups or Poppy Mallow, is a native plant that thrives at the front of the border, in the wild garden and Xeriscape where it enjoys the full sun, blooming with wine-red flowers from April to hard frost. Less water and some pinching back will help this plant stay more compact and not spread so wide. It does self-seed so remove any seedlings while they are young, before the roots get a good foothold.
We offer a one-year conditional warranty. Any plants grown in a container voids the warranty. Warranties on roses and perennials are valid through October 1st of the year purchased. All plants purchased after October 31st will not be eligible for coverage under our warranty.
*Please be aware that planting perennials out of season can increase the risk of the tree not surviving or thriving and may not look identical to the picture shown. Perennials are dormant during the winter months and are more susceptible to stress and damage when planted out of season.*
