Pearl Stone from Mosser Lee
A decorative soil cover and more! Mosser Lee's Pearl Stones promote healthy house plants by providing the drainage and humidity plants need and giving your plant's containers an attractive decorator look. Ideal for terrariums, dish gardens, and crafts.
To Improve Drainage:
Plant roots can breathe properly only in well-drained soil. To prevent over-watering, layer 1-2 inches of stone on the bottom of your pot.
To Create Humidity:
Most plants benefit from a humid environment, and these beautiful stones can help welcome humidity to your plant.
- Layer 1-2 inches of stones in a saucer, dish, or any other shallow-type container. Place planter on stones.
- Add water to stones to a level slightly below the plant container, Re-water as needed to maintain proper level.
- Don't forget to water your plants as well!
To Decorate:
Beautify and enhance your house plants by adding a top layer to your planters. The stones will add soil moisture retention.
- Contains 5 pounds of pearl stone
"My favorite nursery in Fort Collins. High quality plants and flowers. Every gardening accessory you can think of. Tons of gifts for gardeners and crafty people in your life."
- Kelly Ridgley, April 2025
"This is a beautiful garden store in Ft. Collins, Colo. This isn't a discount store but the quality of their plants and merchandise are good quality. We are a cactus/succulent family and we found some very healthy plants, some different than we have found previously. Large facility broken up into manageable rooms for browsing. The employees are there if you need them and the young man at the register was pleasant, knowledgeable and accommodating. If you enjoy spending time at a nursery/garden store there is no reason not to enjoy the Bath Garden Center."
- Debra Harris, November 2025
"I’ve been here many times to get irrigation supplies. I really appreciate their knowledge, patience, and assistance on the subject. I also like that in their lawn irrigation center, it’s only supplies you might need for your lawn, nothing else."
- C Way, March 2023
"Awesome selection! Found a plant I had been looking all over for. They had it. Great, informative people too!"
