River Rock from Mosser Lee
Mosser Lee's natural River Rock promotes healthy house plants by providing the drainage and humidity to help plants thrive and giving your plant containers an attractive decorator look. Ideal for terrariums, dish gardens, and crafts.
To Improve Drainage:
Plant roots can breathe properly only in well-drained soil. To prevent over-watering, layer 1-2 inches of river rock on the bottom of your pot.
To Create Humidity:
Most plants benefit from a humid environment, and these beautiful river rocks can help welcome humidity to your plant.
- Layer 1-2 inches of rocks in a saucer, dish, or any other shallow-type container. Place planter on rocks.
- Add water to river rocks to a level slightly below the plant container, Re-water as needed to maintain proper level.
- Don't forget to water your plants as well!
To Decorate:
Beautify and enhance your house plants by adding a top layer to your planters. The river rocks will add soil moisture retention.
