High Mowing Pink Boar Tomato Seeds

Gorgeous wine-colored fruits with metallic green striping on vigorous vines. Strong plants loaded with rich, sweet juicy fruits perfect for slicing in salads or as an hors d'oeuvre with basil and mozzarella. Deep pink skin is stunning with contrasting olive stripes and luscious deep red flesh. An irresistible treat for chefs and farmers markets!

Sowing Information:

  • Light: Full sun
  • When to Start Inside: Start seeds 6-8 weeks before planting date. Do not start too early; transplants will suffer if allowed to become root bound and leggy. Harden off transplants by reducing water and nitrogen fertilizer.
  • When to Sow Outside: Transplant outdoors after danger of frost has passed.
  • Seed Depth: Plant seeds ¼ inch deep
  • Seed Spacing: Plant 12-18 inches apart
  • Row Spacing: 24-26 inches
  • Thinning: When 3 inches tall, thin to 1 every 4 inches
  • Days to Germinate: 7-15 days
  • Days to Maturity: 75 days

Growing Notes:

  • Harvesting: Harvest tomatoes fully ripe for best flavor. Tomatoes can also be harvested green or at first blush and ripened off the vine at temperatures above 70°F.
  • Attributes: Indeterminate, open-pollinated

"I was in there today may 17th 2025 and two very lovely employees helped me out! One was a guy (cashier) other was a young woman in a hat. The guy asked if I would like the plant repotted and informed me that I needed a bigger pot for the plant to grow in. The girl walked me back to the pots and helped me pick the right size! They were very friendly and helpful they made my visit there amazing! I hope you know who I am talking about so you can give them recognition!"

"I love this place. Their customer service is absolutely outstanding. The staff has a great amount of knowledge. Anytime I have an issue with a plant, I pluck a leaf off of it put it in a ziplock bag, and then take it in. The staff easily assesses what the issues are and educates me on how to tackle the issue."
