An extremely drought-tolerant annual that will re-seed easily or a perennial in mild climates. These beautiful 2-3″ funnel-shaped, golden-orange flowers are found on sandy slopes and grasslands throughout California and Oregon and the southwestern states. California Orange Poppy is the state flower of California and is great for wildflower gardens, roadside, slopes, or meadows. Occasionally colors vary from satiny cream to yellow or orange with finely textured, silver-green foliage. Sow in the early spring and again mid-summer to achieve constant color in your garden. Blooms appear in about 6 weeks.
Pollinators: The California poppy is most attractive to bumble bees, honey bees, sweat bees, and mining bees. Other visitors include butterflies and beetles.
"Just wanted to give a shout-out to both Megan and Cole who planted a new tree for us. It was hot when they were planting but they took time to make sure the placement was perfect. They also were great in explaining the maintenance that will be needed. Very professional and super attitudes…..great employees!"

"There is so much to see. A great place to find a gift for anyone with or without a green thumb."

"They have so much fun stuff to look at even if you're not buying plants! They also have a cool deal where, if you buy the container and the plant, they'll plant it for you. There's clothes, kitchen stuff, kids stuff, books, nick snacks, etc. My mom and I go in just to hang out and look at stuff sometimes, but last time, I got this plant. It went from beautiful to MAMMOTH and beautiful. We named her Victoria."
