Beauty Beyond Belief Lupine Seeds
This beautiful drought tolerant species will send up tall spikes of flowers in varying shades of blue/violet to white over silvery-green foliage. A great choice for partially sunny locations. Some species of this deer resistant plant are toxic to livestock in the early growth and seed stages. Perennial Lupine is a native to the eastern states from Maine to Florida and west to Minnesota and Indiana, this species is found growing in open woods, clearings and sandy prairies. This is the only food for the larva of the Karner Blue Butterfly. Scarify the seed by scratching with sandpaper and soak overnight in tepid water before planting 1/4 inch deep for best results. Plant in slightly acidic soil that is well drained. Sandy, rocky soil will allow the tap root to grow well. Keep the soil moist until the seedling is 3-4 inches tall. No need for fertilization, but perennial lupines like regular irrigation. These are great for wildflower gardens and meadows, but also do well as accents in perennial garden flower beds and make great cut flowers.

"I’ve been here many times to get irrigation supplies. I really appreciate their knowledge, patience, and assistance on the subject. I also like that in their lawn irrigation center, it’s only supplies you might need for your lawn, nothing else."

"Bath's warranty on trees is for real and ended up being a great deal for us. Recently back in and guidance was calming, helpful, and kind concerning recent projects."

"Every time I walk into Bath I’m greeted by the kindest and most helpful people! Additionally they have a fantastic selection of everything you can think of! (I’ve even bought clothing and jewelry here! It’s much more than just a nursery). Today I had the good fortune of being greeted and helped by Wyatt. I went in with absolutely no idea what to do with my garden spaces…they’re huge and overwhelming. I showed Wyatt photos of my spaces and jokingly asked Wyatt if he could just design my spaces for me….and he replied “yes!”….he took me around, asked what I liked, told me how to mix color, grasses and heights, etc…he was a wealth of info and help! I’m so grateful and I love how it all turned out! Thank you, Bath, for having great products, and a special BIG shoutout to Wyatt! You are awesome!!! (Also, Wyatt should get a bonus because I walked out with 22 perennials😂)."
