Praying Mantis Egg Cases for Garden Pest Control
Praying mantises are territorial insects that stalk their prey. They may sit for hours waiting for prey to crawl by and strike at lightning speed without warning, killing their prey with a bite to the neck.
- Contains two egg cases housing around 150-200 baby mantises each
- Targets grasshoppers, crickets, and any other insect the mantis can overcome
- Consider where you are placing the egg casing as pesticides, wetting agents and even spreader-stickers may adversely affect the mantis’ survival. Broad spectrum and systemic insecticides are toxic to praying mantises.
- Hang somewhere out of the way and camouflaged. The elusive babies will hatch and crawl out of the casing in 6 weeks or less.
"We were really happy with the help & service we got from Wyatt, Braden & Dradon. We had to make two trips when trying to decide what tree were going to buy due to HOA rules/restrictions. Wyatt went over everything that would probably be acceptable and he had Braden work with us to show us around. Braden was super helpful, very friendly and he made us laugh even when we felt frustrated with the restrictions of HOA! Dradon planted the tree for us. He is really nice and went the extra mile to walk me through how to maintain the tree and help it thrive! I would highly recommend Bath Garden Center & Nursery because they really try to help their customers, spend time explaining what is best for you and walking you through how to maintain it appropriately!! I would give all three of them 10 stars if it was possible!!! Thank you so much for your help!!!!"

"No matter what I am at Bath for, there are always helpful employees to help me find what I need or tips on how to care for indoor or outdoor plants. They also carry pots, trellises, soil, and interesting plants of all kinds! I was also pleasantly surprised to find compost worms available for purchase without a special preorder. Thank you for being awesome!"

"This is a beautiful garden store in Ft. Collins, Colo. This isn't a discount store but the quality of their plants and merchandise are good quality. We are a cactus/succulent family and we found some very healthy plants, some different than we have found previously. Large facility broken up into manageable rooms for browsing. The employees are there if you need them and the young man at the register was pleasant, knowledgeable and accommodating. If you enjoy spending time at a nursery/garden store there is no reason not to enjoy the Bath Garden Center."
