Praying mantises are territorial insects that stalk their prey. They may sit for hours waiting for prey to crawl by and strike at lightning speed without warning, killing their prey with a bite to the neck.
Contains two egg cases housing around 150-200 baby mantises each
Targets grasshoppers, crickets, and any other insect the mantis can overcome
Consider where you are placing the egg casing as pesticides, wetting agents and even spreader-stickers may adversely affect the mantis’ survival. Broad spectrum and systemic insecticides are toxic to praying mantises.
Hang somewhere out of the way and camouflaged. The elusive babies will hatch and crawl out of the casing in 6 weeks or less.
