Terra Cotta Watering Carrot Stake

Harness the porous nature of terracotta! This slow-release watering stake uses the power of osmosis to water your plants. Add water to a wine or standard plastic bottle and fill with water, this will slowly water your plant for up to two weeks. Your vacation won't kill your plants!

How to use:

  1. Dig a hole large enough for the terra cotta watering stake. The deeper it is, the more stable
  2. Place stake in hole
  3. Select and fill a bottle with water. Water bottle work great for smaller plants, wine bottle work great for larger plants!
  4. Holding your finger over the mouth of the bottle, quickly flip the bottle into the stake
