The Venus Fly Trap is a carnivorous plant that is composed of 4-7 leaves, each containing its own trap at the end. The mouth-like trap is filled with hair-like trichomes that trigger the trap when stimulated. This unique plant feeds on small insects by closing its trap and releasing digestive enzymes to consume its prey.
