The Philodendron Selloum Hope, or the Tree Philodendron (Thaumatophyllum bipinnatifidum), is a great beginner-level houseplant that will produce large, showy foliage that branches up to five feet wide. The dark, shiny green leaves are ruffled and perched on leggy stems from a central base. This base becomes trunk-like when the Selloum Hope matures.
