Characteristics

The Philodendron hederaceum, or Philodendron 'Brasil', is a graceful tropical vine with dark green and yellow variegation in the center of the leaf. A colorful twist on a classic houseplant.

How to Care for Philodendron Brasil

  • Light: Thrives in medium indirect light but can easily tolerate low-light environments.
  • Water Preferences: Allow the soil to dry out slightly in between watering. Water approximately every 9-14 days depending on what kind of light the plant receives.
  • Special Care/Notes: The strength of light the plant is placed in affects variegation pattern and color.
