Characteristics

Ficus Daniella, commonly known as the weeping fig, is an ancestor of the Ficus Benjamina. The Ficus Daniella has a uniquely robust canopy and can grow up to 10 feet tall as an indoor plant.

How to Care for Ficus Daniella

  • Light: Bright indirect or diffused light
  • Water Preferences: Allow the soil to dry somewhat between watering. Prefers periodic deep watering over frequent shallow watering.
  • Special Care/Notes: Can go into shock (drop all the leaves) if the environment changes too quickly. Does not tolerate cold temperatures.
