The Dracaena marginata 'colorama' is a brightly-colored variant of the Madagascar Dragon Tree, boasting flashy red whole-leaf variegation over the usual red rims.
How to Care for Dracaenas
- Light: Prefers bright indirect light, but can tolerate low light as well.
- Water Preferences: Water thoroughly then allow the soil to dry out nearly completely before watering again. This plant is moderately drought-tolerant and a great low-maintenance option.
- Special Care/Notes: Sensitive to salt and mineral buildup. It is best to use distilled water or to let tap water sit out for a minimum of 24 hours before using. The amount of light affects variegation brilliance. Be careful not to overwater as this plant is highly susceptible to root rot. Find additional care instructions here!
