Inchellum Red Softneck Seed Garlic - 2 Bulbs

Grow a top-rated heirloom variety with Inchelium Red Softneck Seed Garlic Bulbs from Bath Garden Center. This national award-winning softneck garlic produces large, dense bulbs with a mild, rich flavor that intensifies slightly in storage. Excellent for braiding, these bulbs offer exceptional shelf life and thrive in warmer to moderate climates. Plant in the fall for a high-yielding summer harvest.

  • Light: Full sun
  • Harvest: Summer
  • Type: Rocambole
  • Planting Depth: 1 inch
  • Bulbs Per Square Foot: 2
  • Planting Instructions: If buying in fall - Plant as soon as possible allowing the garlic to start a root system prior to the first winter frost. If any green sprouts are visible above the ground before winter, mulch heavily for winter protection. If buying in spring - plant as soon as possible in early spring once the soil is workable. This is usually 2-4 weeks after your last frost date.
  • Mature Height: 14"-16"
  • Additional Notes: Pinch off any flowers that might develop as although they look nice, they consume energy that should be going into the finished bulb size.
  • Attributes: Deer resistant, winter hardy

"My husband and I came in the other day to grab some new plants. Emily was great, she helped me pick plants that I couldn't easily kill. We will definitely be back to get our flowers this year."
