Pineberry Strawberry Plant

The Pineberry variety, also known and white strawberries or pineapple strawberries, produces attractive flowers and tasty fruit! Ideal for patios and balconies, long flowering with a rich harvest,  healthy and delicious. They possess a sweet and slightly tangy strawberry flavor with a subtle hint of pineapple, making them a truly unique and refreshing treat.

  • Light: Full sun
  • Planting instructions: Plant in Spring. The most common method for planting strawberries is in the matted row system in well-drained soil. Set your new plants 18-24 inches apart. Be careful to keep the crown just at the soil surface, do not plant too deep or they might rot, or too shallow as they will heave. Water well at time of planting and continue irrigation through September as drought stress will affect harvest. Fertilize if necessary.
  • Mature Height: 6-10 inches
  • Additional Notes: For best results, keep your planting area weed-free and water regularly. Protect from severe cold and frost by mulching with 3-4 inches of straw in late fall. Remove mulch in spring as temperatures moderate. Remove flowers for the first two months so that the plants produce more runners. Hardy in zones 4-9.

"The employees at Bath are very helpful and I didn’t have any problems finding someone to answer questions on either trip. They have a large selection and plenty of parking. They offer a lot of extras like garden art and pots."

"Love this place. I now have a lovely birdbath in my yard. Friendly staff and they are helpful too."

"Thank you so much to the staff for helping pick out our plants and pot them."

"One of my favorite places to get plants! The people there are always friendly and helpful. They are pet friendly, so I always bring my dog. She can be a bit much to handle in public, so I don’t take her out often. BUT whenever I go to Bath the people there always help me out with her! Every time I go to Bath I leave happier and with a new plant!"
