Catching Fire Decorative Dahlia - 2 Bulbs

The Catching Fire Dahlia features a dramatic "bicolor" pattern. The base of each petal is a deep, velvety crimson red, which terminates in a sharp, snowy white tip. The contrast is exceptionally crisp, making each bloom pop against green garden foliage. It produces medium-to-large flowers, typically ranging from 4 to 6 inches in diameter.

  • Light: Full Sun
  • Blooms: Summer to fall
  • Mature Height: 36-40 inches
  • Planting instructionsPlant in Spring. Easy to grow in moist, fertile soil in full sun. Plant one bulb per square foot, 1 inch deep into the soil. Water well during the growing season, especially when grown in containers.

"What a fun and whimsical nursery. There is something for everyone. It feels like every turn you find another treasure. Pricing is boutique-like but plenty of items on the under $15 side. We went in today for greeting cards and found the perfect cards for my grandma. I've purchased many garden supplies and plants here as well. They always have great quality and variety. The owner is amazing, generous, and community focused."
