White Dutch Onion Sets - 75

Onion sets are much easier to grow than starting from seed. They are resistant to bolting and can be stored for a very long time.

Light: Full sun
Mature Height: 12-16 inches
Planting instructions: Plant in Spring. Select a sunny location with rich, well-drained garden soil, high in organic matter. The pH should be between 6.2-6.8 and consistent even moisture is necessary for a good yield. For best results, follow the planting instructions on the back of the package.
Harvest: Summer
Additional Notes: Onions are shallow-rooted and need consistent moisture for flavorful, good-sized bulbs to develop. Once onions are harvested, lay them in the sun for a day or two, allowing the outer skins to cure. Store by roping or hanging in netted bags in a cool, frost-free dry location for use throughout the Winter.
