Prince of Orange Decorative Dahlia - 2 Bulbs

The defining characteristic of 'Prince of Orange' is its abundance of large, 3-5 inch blooms in a glorious shade of orange. This rich, glowing orange hue is reminiscent of a summer sunset and adds a burst of sunshine to any garden. This dahlia is a decorative type, known for its full and impressive blooms. Layers upon layers of flat, slightly rounded petals create a classic, fully double flower form.

  • Light: Full Sun
  • Blooms: Summer to fall
  • Mature Height: 36-40 inches
  • Planting instructions: Plant in Spring. Easy to grow in moist, fertile soil in full sun. Water well during the growing season, especially when grown in containers.
  • Additional Notes: Pinch excess buds and deadhead to encourage additional, larger blooms. 
  • Attributes: Attracts butterflies, attracts hummingbirds, cut flower, container plant.
