Striped Bird Crocus – 10 Bulbs 

"Striped Bird" is a striking variety of snow crocus (Crocus tommasinianus) known for its unique appearance and early bloom time. The chalice-shaped flowers are a soft violet or pale purple, with each petal intricately striped with creamy white and deeper purple veins. This delicate, feather-like pattern gives the flower its distinctive name. Easy to grow in well-drained soil in full sun to partial shade. They are extremely hardy, and will even bloom during a snowstorm. Plant these bulbs in the fall for spring blooms!

  • Light: Full sun to part shade 
  • Blooms: Early Spring
  • Planting Depth: 3 inches 
  • Bulbs Per Square Foot: 12
  • Planting Instructions: Plant in waves in the garden or lawn before first frost in the fall. If planting in the lawn wait at least 6 weeks after the crocus have flowered to mow the lawn. Crocus will multiply and come back year after year if left undisturbed.
  • Mature Height: 3-4 inches 
  • Additional Notes: Winter hardy, great for containers
